This is Hitty Rachel Raikes. She is the first Hitty to arrive here. We believe she came in the summer of 2003, but are not exactly sure because Jen didn't keep a doll census back then. She came here because Jen read about her as a doll related to a book - and Jen loves books. She came from American Kit, which was a Raikes company, but they are no longer doing business. Hitty Rachel is a traveler and loves adventures. She can find excitement in everyday life, too. Last week, she went to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. She blogged about it in the Hitty's blog: Chesapeake Bay Hittys.
