I made a new outfit for Luke today. I found a cut off pants leg that I'd saved a long time ago when I turned my son's uniform pants into uniform shorts (he had worn holes in the knees and Spring was here). One leg had enough fabric to make a pair of pants for him. The shirt is made from an old polo shirt of my husband's that he didn't want anymore. We had a warm spell last week. On Friday it was in the low 70's, but today's high was only in the 40's and Monday night we may get some snow flurries. The daffodils are coming up, but Spring really isn't here yet.
Luke got a new toy from McDonalds. t is a Tonka truck for Florida swamp exploring - there's some alligators in the back. I don't think Luke is going to find any alligators in Maryland though.

Adorable! Your sewing skills always impress me! The outfit you made for Luke is much nicer than his meet outfit and makes him look even more realistic.
By the way, please let me know when your big Suzannah arrives. I hope you will blog about her. :o)

Thanks for the kind words! I am not a big fan of sewing with knits, so Luke's shirt was a nice challenge even though the pattern was simple. My mother is an excellent seamstress, and finally, after 40-some years, she is finally thinking that maybe I inherited a little bit of her talent!
You can bet that Suzannah will be on the blog!
