A Doll A Week 36/52: Sasha

A new girl arrived on Thursday this week.  She came all the way from California.  She looks very young, since we are told she was made in the late 70's!  She's been called Sasha for over 30 years, but is considering a name change.  There are so many names to choose from, it is hard to pick just the right one.
Jen made 3 reversible pinafores using the pattern offered on Sasha Street for a challenge.  We are still waiting for some patterns we ordered to come so that she can make some clothes for the coming cooler days.  If it gets too cold too soon, she does have her long sleeve blue gingham dress that she wore for her journey here.  But she's been wearing that dress for a very, very long time.

She looks happy to be home.
Love the jumper fabric.

Thanks, Sandra! I've been holding onto that fabric for a long time! I love the kittys, too, especially the siamese and calicos.

Ms. Jen, I have a Sasha, too. Her name is Alicen and she has two-toned hair- honey blonde and platinum. She looks very much like yours. It is my dream to have a brunette Sasha one day. troni

Miss Gladys, I would love to see Alicen. Has she been in your blog? The brunettes are lovely, but I've heard that their hair is usually very fragile so they are harder to find.

Ms. Jen, Alicen has been in my blog, but it's been a while. I will take some new, fresh photos and post them soon.
